On the early morning of October 10, 2024, the project team of Wuhan Lakeda’s “Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries · Thriving with the Ocean National Fishery Escort Wave-Breaking Tour” officially set off. The team, equipped with the Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries system, software, and related materials, headed to Dalian, Liaoning, at the invitation of clients, marking the beginning of the national tour’s first stop.
Dalian is situated on the shores of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea, boasting a long coastline and vast shallow waters. It is not only an important marine breeding area but also a core national aquatic product processing base and a key source of seafood in northern China. As a critical hub for domestic and international seafood trade, Dalian’s sea cucumber farming industry has become one of the pillars of its marine economy, with continuously growing brand influence and an industrial chain scale exceeding ten billion yuan.

The project team visited Dalian Changhai Guangyi Seafood Co., Ltd., Pulandian Pingdao Sea Cucumber Farm, and Dalian Shentai Sea Cucumber Company to gain in-depth insights into clients’ actual needs. They conducted on-site surveys of the farming environment, scouted demonstration locations, and developed detailed exercise plans. On October 18, the first demonstration of the Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries system was successfully held at Dalian Changhai Guangyi Seafood Co., Ltd.

Established in 2007, Dalian Changhai Guangyi Seafood Co., Ltd. has long focused on fishery aquaculture. From the bow of the ship, one can see vast artificial sea cucumber farming areas stretching across the endless blue waters, locally known as “marine farms.” It is reported that the farming area in this region continues to expand, showcasing the industry’s strong growth potential.
On the day of the demonstration, sea conditions were calm. The project team and clients monitored real-time vessel dynamics, speed, trajectories, and surveillance footage from radar and electro-optical equipment transmitted via the “Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries System Platform” from a rest area 3 kilometers away. The clients expressed high approval of the system’s effectiveness, noting that this technology could significantly reduce the need for manual monitoring, effectively lower aquaculture management costs, and achieve intelligent upgrades in fisheries.
Changhai Guangyi is just one of the many clients served by the Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries system. In the future, we will continue to advance along China’s coastline from north to south, engaging with more aquaculture enterprises, continuously listening to their needs, and optimizing system performance to support the modernization of China’s fisheries with advanced technology.
The “Lakeda Shield Guarding Fisheries · Thriving with the Ocean National Fishery Escort Wave-Breaking Tour” has achieved initial success in Liaoning. Stay tuned for further updates. Clients nationwide are welcome to inquire and register for participation.
