To thoroughly implement the “Interim Regulations on the Flight Management of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles” and effectively safeguard national security, public safety, and aviation security, while comprehensively enhancing the public security authorities’ capability to address UAV-related security risks and promoting the high-quality development of the provincial low-altitude economy, the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department successfully hosted the “First Provincial Public Security UAV Countermeasure Competition” from November 26 to 29, 2024. The event was organized by the Political Department and the Public Order Corps of the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department, among other units, and co-organized by the Hubei Radio Monitoring Center, the Hubei Police-Enterprise Joint Innovation Center for Security Industry (referred to as the “Provincial Police-Enterprise Joint Innovation Center”), and the UAV Branch of the Hubei Security & Protection Industry Association (referred to as the “Provincial Security Association UAV Branch”).

Wuhan Lakeda made an appearance at the exhibition with its independently developed “Owl Omni-Directional Anti-UAV System” and actively participated in the competition, fully demonstrating its outstanding technical strength and industry-leading solutions.

Owl Omni-Directional Anti-UAV System Display

The “Owl” anti-UAV system is a professional defense system designed to protect key areas from UAV intrusions. It integrates detection, countermeasure, and induction capabilities, effectively preventing activities such as hazardous material drops and illegal filming via drones, thereby ensuring the security of core zones.

At the event, participating units engaged in multi-dimensional and highly challenging technical competitions centered on UAV countermeasure technologies. Lakeda stood out in the competition with its advanced countermeasure equipment and professional team, earning widespread recognition.

Live Technical Exchange at the Exhibition

The competition attracted over 100 attendees, including relevant leaders from the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department and UAV countermeasure professionals from public security authorities across various cities, who came to observe, exchange insights, and learn. This event served as an important platform for enhancing the level of UAV countermeasure equipment and technical capabilities of public security authorities throughout the province.
